"AI & Artistic Innovation: Exploring New Frontiers in Fine and Applied Arts and Technology"
The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, is proud to host the 1st International Symposium on AI & Artistic Innovation, a groundbreaking event exploring the intersections of artificial intelligence and the arts. The symposium will take place on June 27, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM, at the Recital Hall, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.
This symposium brings together scholars, artists, technologists, and curators from three continents—Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Scandinavia—to engage in dynamic discussions and share innovative practices that are shaping the future of creative education and cultural production.

The event is co-organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, and supported by Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Discussions will focus on AI in art education, curation, music creation, and cultural policy, including a special workshop on AI and music performance led by Prof. Francis Tan from NUS.
This symposium marks an important step toward positioning Chulalongkorn University as a hub for artistic innovation in the digital age. Scholars, students, professionals, and the public are warmly invited to attend and take part in this forward-thinking conversation.
