Step-by-Step Admission Guide
Step 1: Be Aware of Important Dates
It is crucial to adhere to the application timeline:
• Application Submission:
February – May.
Please submit all required documents within this period.
Please note that the exact date may vary depending on the University’s academic calendar announcement.
• Online Interview: May.
• Notification Period: June.
• Fundamental Course Module (onsite): August.
• First Semester: August – December.
Step 2: Qualifications
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field of study with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
• If your Bachelor’s degree is not in art fields or psychology, you must have at least 1 year of practical experience.
• Demonstrate English proficiency by submitting a score attained within the previous 2 years from one of the following tests:
◦ CU-TEP score of at least 67
◦ TOEFL score of at least 525
◦ IELTS (Academic) score of at least 5.5
• Other qualifications may be required, subject to announcements from the programme committee.
Step 3: Prepare All Required Documents
Ensure all the following documents are ready for submission:
• A photocopy of your National ID card (for Thai students) or passport (for International students).
• A copy of relevant official transcript(s).
• A copy of an English Proficiency Test official report.
• A completed application form (including a photograph).
• Two letters of recommendation.
• A Statement of Purpose (SOP).
• Your Resume.
• A copy of the name or surname alteration (if applicable).
Important Notes on Documents:
• All documents must be named and signed.
• All documents must be in English.
Step 4: Submit Your Application
The application process involves two key steps:
1. Register and complete the application form via Chulalongkorn University’s Graduate School registration system at https://www.register.gradchula.com.
2. After completing the university online form, send all required documents to our department via email to cuexpressiveartstherapy@chula.ac.th.
Step 5: Application Payment
Please proceed with the payment of the 3,000 THB application fee. Kindly note that this amount is net and non-refundable. The applicant is responsible for all associated bank transfer fees.
Upon completion, email the payment confirmation to cuexpressiveartstherapy@chula.ac.th within one hour.
Step 6: Await Notification
After sending the application fee payment confirmation email, you will have an appointment to interview.
This interview typically takes place in May.
The university will notify applicants of their admission status by June 30th.
