Art therapy is a dynamic field in the mental health profession. It is based on the empirical knowledge that the process of artistic creation, under the guidance of a qualified therapist, enables individuals to become more expressive and communicative, develop self-awareness and therefore begin to heal.

Expressive Arts Therapy at Chulalongkorn University

The Master of Arts in Expressive Arts Therapy at Chulalongkorn University integrates various media of expression to offer therapists a variety of modalities they can apply in their practice that suit the needs of different clients. 

In this two-year programme, the students will acquire knowledge on methods and techniques of major therapy and art therapy, research and assessment, and standards and ethics in clinical practice, as well as carry out field training under supervision.
